Vegan Peanut Butter Biscuits - They THAW in your mouth!

How do baking biscuits ever be rapid? You normally must get a scale, then carefully measure out all the components, caress the dough to ages, cut out little cookies in to heart, star and moon shapes and then wait another century'til they're baked.

NEVER EVER would I bake biscuits under these conditions. That is just not how I roll up. But then I came across those Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies (that is what I call them, anyhow.)

Ok, they don't taste exactly like the biscuits you get round Christmas time. Rather they're a bit more gooey and do not crumble in any respect.

But what largely convinced me was you can have them prepared in 25 minutes including the baking time! No shit.

Probably the most astonishing thing about the cookies is that they call for only two ingredients! Yep that is right, and anyone can blend two components.

Though in the event that you would like to make them tastier and/or healthier you can pimp them up using a few add ons like raisins, walnuts or cinnamon. That is up to you!

It seems more and more like a sales pitch (it is not -- nobody's gonna pay me should you eat them), but I must say one more amazing thing about these cookies.

They are tasty! Yep, once I had had the very first I finished the rest within an hour.

They are ideal for hiking trips or other occasions where you need a quick pleasant bite on the go. Nowadays I keep them as a fast snack in my backpack.

It must also be mentioned that they're vegan. No eggs, no milk, no none of the typical cookie suspects. Simply oats and bananas.

Health Benefits -- Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies

First I wanted to call them"Fitness Cookies" -- because I think these will be the only really healthy cookies that have been produced by humankind .

Take oats for example. Not merely do they lower your cholesterol levels which in turn helps you prevent developing heart disease or diabetes, but in addition they energize you with great carbs and nutrients to keep you going for longer during the day.

Those nutrients comprise manganese, good for bone creation and skin ethics as well as magnesium -- important for energy production to allow you to feel more awake

Same with bananas -- the favourite fruit among athletes -- not just cause they contain a decent number of good carbohydrates but for being the big players in the potassium video game.

Potassium is a very important nutrient for avoiding fatigue and muscular cramps. Pretty good if you have a difficult day ahead of you.
